Explore. Experiment. Develop Scientific Thinking

Lessons are structured around the Cambridge Science Curriculum, supported by practical activities and carefully selected learning materials to help students develop both scientific knowledge and scientific thinking skills.

Students explore key areas of science including:

• Biology and living things
• Materials and their properties
• Forces, energy, light and sound
• Earth, space and the environment
• Scientific investigation
• Observation and measurement
• Making predictions and testing ideas
• Recording and interpreting results
• Scientific vocabulary and written explanations

Students learn more than scientific facts. We encourage them to observe, question, predict, investigate and explain.

They also develop the confidence to use scientific vocabulary correctly and communicate their ideas clearly in both spoken and written English.
