Create. Explore. Express.

Our Art programme gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity while developing strong foundations in drawing, painting and visual expression.

Through engaging projects and a variety of artistic techniques, students learn to observe, experiment and turn their own ideas into original artwork.

Students will explore a range of skills and techniques including:

• Drawing and sketching
• Colour theory and colour mixing
• Painting techniques
• Composition and perspective
• Shape, form, texture and pattern
• Charcoal and mixed media
• Creative illustration
• Observational drawing
• Developing ideas from concept to finished artwork
• Develop Creativity & Confidence

Our classes encourage students to develop their own ideas and artistic style, rather than simply copying a finished example.

With guidance from the teacher, students learn to make creative choices, solve visual problems and become more confident in expressing themselves through art.
